More About Me…

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest but moved to Waco, Texas to attend Baylor University and pursue a degree in Journalism with a focus in Advertising, and minor in creative writing.

I have had extensive hands-on learning where I’ve honed my ability to create compelling stories through word and design. I served as Vice President of PR and Marketing for Alpha Chi Omega (Theta Iota chapter) where I managed the creative direction of our online presence; I was an editorial intern at the WACOAN where I focused on copywriting and content creation, and I was an intern with the Rome Design Agency while I was mentored in the creation of digital brand campaigns.

I’ve traveled across the ocean to Guam, Hawaii and Japan, and have driven up and down the Pacific Coast Highway for family road-trips more times than I can count. My Fall 2024 semester took me around Europe, with my home base in the bustling city of Rome, Italy, studying painting, graphic design and drawing.

Through my time in studio art, I have expanded my creative intuition when it comes to colors, composition, textures, and layouts. Everything I’ve learned has taught me the importance of not just design, but how these creative elements can make or break a brand.

On top of my experience, I devour books (especially sci-fi — but also an occasional love story), adore iced chai lattes, can’t pass up a good mid-day nap and I dream of writing my own book someday.

Oh, and did I mention I’m a middle child? That means I can hold my own.
